What is Build-a-Kit?

Build-a-kit is a monthly subscription tailored to suit your own needs.
Your monthly box will contain 1 complete Diamond Painting kit, and any of our optional extras you decide to add.
Kits are a surprise.  You will not know what you are getting until you get it, but we will ensure no one will receive a double of anything they already have.

Unfortunately, you can not use Laybuy, Afterpay or Sezzle for Build-a-Kit payments.

How does it work? 

  1. Choose your favourite size.
  2. Choose the plan that suits you
  3. Add any of the optional extras you like, or don't add any!

That's it!  You will receive one surprise kit every month.

Is there a deadline to sign up?

Yes and no.
Subscriptions are charged on the 20th of each month, regardless of when you sign up.
If you sign up before the 20th, you will not be charged until the 20th, and will receive your first kit the following month.  All subscriptions placed after that date will receive their first kit the following month.
For example: You place your order BEFORE the 20th of May - you will receive your first kit in June. You place your order AFTER the 20th of May, you will receive your first kit in July. 

Once you subscribe, your monthly subscription will automatically bill and renew on the 20th of each consecutive month. 

What is the processing time, and when can I expect my kit?

End date to subscribe each month is the 20th.  We will then process all subscriptions and will have all orders completed and to our supplier by the 1st of the month.
Orders will then be printed and packed (normally 3 days).
You should receive your kit by the end of the month, however, we can not be held responsible for delays within the postal service.
A tracking number and email updates will be provided, so you will be kept in loop until you receive your package.

What if I sign up for a 3, 6 or 12 month plan?

All our plans are recurring, meaning that whatever you sign up for, you will continue to be billed on the 20th of the month, every 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on which plan you opt in for.

If you sign up and prepay for 3, 6 or 12 months, you will not be billed every month, but you will receive your kit every month.
EXAMPLE: Pay for 3 months up front.  You will be charged on the 20th of the month for the full 3 months, and you will receive a kit every month over the next 3 months.
You will then be billed again on the 4th month, and the process will repeat until you cancel.

What if I don't like what you sent me? How will you know what I like?

The Build-a-Kit is somewhat like a secret Santa.  You won't know what you get from month to month until it arrives in the mail.  However, we have implemented a few things to help us pick the perfect canvas for you.
As you go through the checkout, we have added some questions to the bottom of the form. Simply select the themes you like. You can choose as many as you like, but please choose carefully as these questions cannot be changed if you change your mind.
There is also a text area where you can add any additional information you may think will help us.  Select square or round drills, and you can also choose not to receive the generic tool kit if you have enough.

What are Optional Extras?

Optional extras is a collection of products that we think are an invaluable source for all Diamond Painting addicts, and we have reduced these prices just for our subscription members!
All these products are optional to add, and may be added at anytime through your Build-a-Kit dashboard.

Click Subscriptions in the header

Click the + sign next to the invoice you wish to change

Click View

Delete any products you longer wish by clicking the trash can and any you want from the drop down list.  These items will appear on all future invoices until removed.

Choose any products you want to add, then click add.

I added some extras, and I only want them this time, but they are showing up on my next invoice. What do I do?

Build-a-Kit Optional Extras are recurring products, meaning they will be billed and sent to you every month if you don't remove them.
If you add any of these items, and only want them ONCE, you will need to go to the dashboard and remove them from the next invoice, PRIOR to being billed.  If you don't they will be billed and resent with your next order.
REMEMBER: Invoices are billed on the 20th of each month, so you need to remember to go and change these options prior to that date.

I pay monthly, but want to skip next months kit, what do I do?

Simply go to your Build-a-Kit dashboard, select your subscription and "skip payment".

Click dashboard on the header. Click the + next to the invoice you want to skip.  Click "Skip a Month" and follow the prompts.

You have total control over your subscriptions. From your dashboard you can:

  1. View upcoming payment dates.
  2. Manage existing subscriptions (add / remove and edit existing subscriptions).
  3. Manage payment info (add / remove / change payment methods on file).
  4. Manage addresses and personal information.
  5. Pay your invoices early.
  6. Review invoice and payment history.

Once you have completed checkout, you will be directed to the Dashboard. It is advisable to have a look around in this section to see what you do, how you can update and change any of your information etc.
You can also access your Dashboard from the link in the main menu above, under Build-a-Kit.

Where do you ship and what are the fees?

Our Build-a-Kits are shipped worldwide for FREE!  The only exception to this rule, is our wood turned pens, which will cost a small shipping fee of $7.95 worldwide.

What if I want to cancel?

We hate to see you go, but understand there are many reasons you may choose to not continue your subscription. To cancel, simply log into your Build-a-Kit Dashboard, select your subscription and cancel.

Alternatively, you may contact us directly.
After cancelling, you will continue to receive any boxes you've paid for; then your subscription will end.
